I stroll into media, as I do at the same time every Wednesday. Greg is looking Seriously at me. I panic.

Basic story is this: I want the A, I don't do this media project. He's quick to assure me that really, the project is good as an idea, but he doesn't think I can pull it off. Why? I'm not technologically or artistically minded enough. I gist is, I can't take photos and I can't bloody well edit them. I have been advised to work solo on a radio project. He suggests it be on science-fiction, as "You submitted a really nice article last year to the college magazine - that would work. No, really."

Excuse me while I curl up and try not to hit things. I'm more angry because, y'know, I have messed you all around and been Queen Bitch over this and now it's all gone WRONG and I have do to bollocking-y radio which I really really don't fancy.

Thank you all for your help even if he decides that NOW is the time to tell me that I am a technological loser.

Photos now up in photobucket! Defriendslock and use to your hearts content and feel free to kick me the next time to you see me. Or my media teacher. He could have told me WEEKS ago.

You may now return to your regular planned programming.

Procrastination, yay.

Note colourbars, not colorbars. And as for why the first one is backwards, I do not know.

Okay, I put pictures on to Photobucket, but photobucket likes to resize things, so if you want a larger version then ask and I shall email it to you.

Oh, and OT6.

Have thoroughly wibbled at Martin, the media technician. He is giving me a lesson on How To Take Photos tomorrow lunchtime, also How To Use The Extendable Flash and How To Use The Timer. Go me!

So, the plan is thus:

1. Wirralites! Ron is being your transport, and what with one thing and another you're all crashing my house and getting food before we leave for Iona's.
2. We turn up at Iona's house and I run around like a mad person taking photos and test shots.
3. I take photos. I want single and combo shots, please.
4. Enid turns up - I take group shots, her individual shots, then everyone goes home and has a bun.

Possible problems:

1. The t-shirt thing. Wear a colour, I don't mind what, just make sure it's all one colour. If possible. Text me and let know if that's a problem, as I live in plain t-shirts and will be lending out in case of problems. (As for other clothes? Whatever you feel comfy in and don't mind having splashed possibly on a media display next year.)

2. Can't come due to train/homework/Giant Ants From Space invading Earth? That's fine, I understand, but due to deadlines (to quote Douglas Adams: "I love deadlines. I like the swooshing noise they make as they go past") I have to take these photos Wednesday night. So, um, it will be slightly incomplete Resident Lunacy.

3. By the way, we're going to be slightly renamed Resident Lunacy. I'm fed up of dying of shame. (Which means I am bereft of a "The..." name. Does "The political one?" sound okay?)

4. Can we just wander into the woods, by the way? I want to at least try it out, photo wise.

Erm, that's about it. You all know what my phone number is in case it all goes belly up. If parents need placating, just explain that I'm using the woods for a location? Your mum and dad must be (and rightly so) sick of me...

Hey, never posted on here before.

Anyway, we need to pay for the Phantom of the Opera trip in August. Sophie and Philippa want the money soon, as they paid for everything on Philippa's mum's credit card, and all our lives will be hell until we have paid.

So as we are all meeting soon, if everyone could bring the £55 for the ticket and the coach, that would be great.

I need photos of us all together and I need them soon for my coursework. When I say 'soon' I mean "My media teacher has given me ten days or so." Can we all do a weeknight next week? How is Wednesday for everyone?

So. Can we meet on Wednesday evening? As far as I can tell, no one works that evening.

Clothes - wear clothes that are quite striking and would work in a black and white photo. Preferably a t-shirt of Your Colour (the one on your bracelet) because I would really like to have a black and white photo with us all having t-shirts of the appropriate colour.

Location - I'd very much like to steal the woods and beach by Iona's house. Is this a problem for anyone in getting there?

Without meaning to be borderline hysterical about this, this is my coursework and right now probably my only guaranteed A. I will bring food and any requests? Just give me them. Want fic written? Not a problem. Want Brian Molko to sing at your next birthday? Consider it done. I just need you all there! Please!

I need to know in about two days if this is a problem so I can arrange an alternate date.

I loffle you all and I know I'm being a pain. *shurggles* I'm sorry.

Question - what magazine would an interivew with us appear in? I wanted SFX but I need a back-up. It needs to be cool, hip and somewhat indie with a geeky twist. Much like us.

Considering that Emily has just (and rightly so) decreed us parts in Friends I realised that we hadn't met up and had a coffee for the longest time. You know, as a group.

So... what are we all doing on Friday? Anyone fancy a trek to Liverpool? Yes, I'm just a worn-down with coursework as everyone else (I just care less) so shall we meet up, if only for a few hours, and have a coffee and a general natter? Pretty please? Failing that, tel me a date you can?

Okay, okay, I'm asking for entirely selfish reasons, actually. Media coursework, darlings. I need some photos of us that I can start using as research and stuff. SO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME YOU CAN ALL COME. Shall we say... meet at 1pm at Central? Or tell me a different time?

Edited to add: The relevant dates are Friday 29th April to Monday 2nd May 2005.

Jumping the gun a little, but I just wanted to ask a few questions about Collectormania 7. The guests are very much of the good, multi-fandom wise, and are we definitely considering going? I know I'd like to, and Clare and Colleen are probably a given, but what about everyone else? Hannah, there are Buffy guests, and besides, the trip is always worth it regardless of the guests.

not_vacillating - if we come, will you meet us there? You might get to meet more of us this time, all things considered. And besides, I think you're part of The Convention Experience now. You must come. :)

Also, there is one more person. I don't think she'd be coming with us, but quackaquacka definitely wants to come. She actually wants to come only so she can buy a puppet!Angel as library mascot.

So, any thoughts?
